We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer for a project from Austria.
Their product is an online service for creating, publishing, and distributing print editions in the form of digital magazines.
The product consists of several parts. The B2B product allows converting PDF files and publishing editions online, making them accessible on any device. It also includes analytics features for tracking view statistics and user interactions. There is also a B2C part which allows users to view magazines online and manage subscriptions.
The web, iOS, and Android applications already exist. The mobile part of the product was developed entirely from scratch by our team. Our team currently includes a Senior Android Engineer, and now we are looking for a .NET Developer to join the team to update the email system.
The team follows Scrum with daily stand-ups, monthly retrospectives, and 2-week sprints.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with .NET 4.5
- 2+ years of experience with C#
- MS SQL
- Knowledge of SMTP, DKIM, SPF, and DMARC protocols
- Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English

Responsibilities:
- Develop new features and maintain existing ones using .NET and C#
- Install and update systems
- Ensure secure and reliable email delivery using SMTP, DKIM, SPF, and DMARC protocols
- Prevent emails from ending up in spam or blacklists
- Build and integrate systems for tracking technical metrics like delivery rates, delays, bounce classifications, and email provider feedback
- Work with large datasets for email personalization and segmentation while ensuring data protection compliance
- Identify and fix errors, such as malformed headers or delivery failures due to technical constraints
- Evaluate and optimize product performance
- Contribute to technical solutions and strategy to support the product’s long-term vision
- Implement solutions to improve data reliability and quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Expand and maintain documentation
- Debug and fix bugs.
